Our science investigation…

The children absolutely loved their science lesson today. We finished our unit which was all about how plants grow by tasting seeds and beans. We investigated which seed or bean that Willow class found the tastiest. We couldn’t believe that the seeds we were eating would grow into a plant if we planted them and fed them water! Can you guess which seed or bean we liked the bets?

Do you know your food groups?

Today in science we have been learning all about the different food groups and what foods belong to each one. We have been sorting the different foods into the correct groups and deciding which foods are for growth and which are for energy. We have also talked about eating a balanced diet and why we should do this to keep healthy. Here we are busy at work…

Our medieval dress up day…

Well didn’t we have a very fun last week of term? On Thursday we all came into school dressed up as dragons, princesses and knights. It was a wonderful day and I was very impressed by all the costumes. Thank you to all of the parents for providing wonderful outfits for the children!

The day was a very busy day for us. We made dragon bookmarks, had a medieval banquet and even took part in some medieval dancing! Did you see us in the Congleton Chronicle? We even made the front page!

Here are our pictures from the day…
